Sonnet? (to M.)

Yes, your beauty
Haven’t gone unnoticed today,
Nor it was ever questioned before
In my head …
The Oracle has proclaimed Thee
The One
And Michael Bolton has already sung
His song
Like only twice before
In my quite a long life.

Yes, I got stunned,
And put up my boorish face
(excuse the pun)
As a shield protecting from your rays,
Before I shake off the stun
In fear of again being banned,
From your grace.

Don’t worry,
I won’t compare you,
to the summer day
Nor use any other
Of the Renaissance no-sense
In modern times
We live
Beauty is easily
Generated by algorithms,
And rhymes are created
From random searches
For words
Multiplied billons of times
In the heart of
The Machine

You won’t get me broken either,
Finally in my life,
I’ve come to the place,
Where emotions
Don’t matter that much
Anymore
They hurt,
They still can burn,
But then I sing
Pink’s song,
Or “Burning heart”
And I can get by.

You see
I’ve been to hell,
And I have looked
In the eyes
Of the Devil
…
So yes, despite the pain
And despite your heart palpitations
I’m gonna use my brain
And be ready to let you go
Despite the desperation
It’s not gonna be in vain
It’s gonna win your soul
If we’re to meet again
once more
